COMMON ADD-ONS
Ceramic coating is the next big thing in wheel care, and it’s easy to see why. Once considered the exclusive domain of the race car industry, ceramic coating is now becoming a common choice for many automotive enthusiasts and consumers looking for a better way to protect their investment. It is an eco-friendly process that makes your car’s rims look shiny and new while protecting them from UV rays and corrosion.
Absolutely transparent protective coating for glass surfaces, Ceramic Pro Glass is a lifesaver for any driver: it significantly improves the visibility on road and makes driving comfortable and secure.
A ceramic coating will protect your paint protection film from stubborn contaminants. It will also make your PPF easier to clean! That’s because ceramic coating is naturally water repellant. When you wash your car, the water is pushed off, taking gunk and grime with it.
What's the difference in paint protection?
Paint Protection Film VS> Ceramic Coatings
Ceramic coatings and paint protection film (PPF) are two options for protecting your vehicle’s paint. Ceramic coatings bond with the paint and provide a layer of protection that is resistant to contaminants, while PPF is a clear, thin film applied to the surface of the paint to protect it from scratches and other damage. Ceramic coatings have a longer lifespan and require less maintenance than PPF, but are also more expensive to apply. PPF is easier to remove and replace if damaged, but can yellow over time. Both options offer effective protection for your vehicle, but the choice between them will depend on your specific needs and budget.

Frequently asked questions
What is Ceramic Coating? Industry-grade ceramic coating is a chemical polymer solution that is applied to the exterior of a vehicle to protect it from external paint damage. Typically applied by hand, it blends with the paint of your car and creates an additional hydrophobic layer of protection.
Installing a ceramic coating is an extremely tedious process. Below is a breakdown of how ceramic coatings are installed.
100% Hand Car Wash
Using PH neutral soap and a clean wash mitt and safe towel to dry.
Paint Decontamination
Clay bar treatment to mechanically decontaminate the paint followed by a chemical decontamination with iron removers.
Labor intensive Machine Paint Correction
We must make your car’s paint as close to perfect as possible so that we don’t seal those defects under the coating.
Surface Cleansing Coating Prep
We apply an alcohol-based cleansing solution to give the coating a proper surface to bond too. Unlike wax coatings bond to your clear coat.
Tedious Panel by Panel Installation
We apply the coating panel-by-panel with an applicator and special soft towels to prevent further damage.
Ceramic coatings last anywhere from 6 months to 7+ years depending on the formula & the quality of the installation. Many coatings fall short of their expected time because they are not installed by a professional shop.
The cost of a ceramic coating ranges from $549 – $3000 depending on two factors. How much paint correction is required & how much durability is desired. Also, the larger the vehicle the more the price goes up since there is more surface area to polish & coat.
Removing a ceramic coating requires labor intensive cutting and polishing with a machine polisher, pads, and abrasive compounds. You must be very careful to not go past the clearcoat.
Think about wax and ceramic coatings as two different roads that lead to the same destination. They are different materials that perform the same task: protect your vehicle’s exterior surfaces. Both provide a sacrificial layer that is intended to shield your car’s surface from sun exposure, moisture and environmental pollution. Wax is the old, winding 2-lane road that leads into town and ceramic is the new, 6-lane wide expressway that gets you there in half the time.
Ceramic coatings are intended to make it easier to maintain your vehicle and make it possible to have a vehicle that looks like new for years to come. Ceramic coatings should not be a substitute for regularly maintaining your vehicle. The better you treat your ceramic coating, the better it will treat you!

- Regularly washing your vehicle will increase performance and durability of a ceramic coating. We recommend washing every other week. Usage of the vehicle, seasons and parking conditions could warrant more frequent washing
- We recommend that you use either the two bucket wash method or rinseless washing with products such as Optimum No Rinse.
- Touch-free car washes can be used when necessary but hand washing is a must when possible. If using a touch free car wash, do so in the mornings or evenings.
- Only use clean wash media (wash bucket, sponges, microfiber towels)
- Microfiber towels should be washed with a detergent that does not contain additives or perfumes (All Free & Clear). Do not use fabric softener. Wash and dry towels separate from your other laundry. Wash and dry on cool/ no heat.
- Use a separate bucket for your wheels and tires
- Never wash in direct sunlight
- Wash top to bottom, front to back
- Thoroughly dry the vehicle to avoid water spotting
- Do NOT use abrasive towels or microfiber towels to wipe off debris on a dry or dirty surface.
